THE VISION
Tubi was acquired by Fox Corporation (FOX) for approximately $440 million in cash in 2020, a deal that closed in April of that year. Fox purchased the free, ad-supported streaming service to expand its digital reach, and despite significant offers to sell it later, Fox has kept Tubi, which has since become profitable for the company
Sling Media, the company known for its Slingbox device, was acquired by EchoStar Communications (the parent company of the DISH Network satellite TV service) for approximately $380 million in cash and stock options. This deal was announced in September 2007.
1) I see a roadmap to success for PIXEL-FLICK TV. I believe in it, and I am confident in the decision to move forward with launching our own Streaming Media Channel is the right steps to make.
2) With a vision to build an aggregation platform for a community-driven approach, where we can develop new and original ideas, create a library of content out there that can generate viewership, subscribers and advertising revenue, and ultimately help showcase our communities talent, make deals happen with the Major Distributors, breaking down barriers for the Independent Filmmaking community.
